About Ashland Prep

My name is Ravi.

I launched Ashland Prep in 2019 after nearly a decade working inside traditional test prep companies.

What I saw over that time was simple: most students don’t struggle because they lack ability. They struggle because they don’t know how to operate under pressure.

At its core, Ashland is about helping students recognize and regulate their fight-or-flight response when stakes feel high. Standardized testing just happens to be a clean, repeatable environment to train that skill. The self-awareness carries far beyond the test.

We work with a small, highly selective group of tutors who combine top percentile performance with exceptional emotional intelligence. Capacity is intentionally limited to preserve feedback quality and program integrity.

Ashland is a member of the National Test Prep Association and the League of Tutors.
