In January 2025, two Ashland high school seniors lost their homes and schools in the Palisades Fires. We gave them space. They pulled in four friends. Week after week, they showed up from across LA. No curriculum—just exposed brick, a conference table, and their own will. “Zoom in a Room,” they called it. Online school became ritual.
From that came the new Ashland Prep: built on autonomy, not programming. No hand-holding. No hovering. Just trust that the right students rise.
So we built Sunrise Sessions: practice SATs at dawn, study plans rooted in self-awareness. Sunset Sessions: decoding the psychological warfare of standardized tests, with breaks overlooking the Pacific. And Ashland HQ: one room, six seats, a balcony and rooftop, no curriculum—just world-class tools and mentors on call.
With what’s possible now, anyone can build anything. We’re here to support what’s now—and what’s next.
